Alicia and Trent moving back to SK this summer (2016)

Time to share some news from our family to you…

Alicia and I are making the move back to our home province of Saskatchewan this summer (July 2016).  When we came in 2001 we had a U-Haul trailer filled with our own wedding gifts, and a mission to learn as much about our instruments and music as we could.  Alicia & Trent’s Classical & Jazz Ensembles was formed in 2005 after we finished our music schooling at the RCM and U of Toronto.  After freelancing for a short time we felt we had something to offer in organizing and performing music at the events we were already playing at as hired musicians.

The word of what we offered to our clients must have spread.  What started as a way to share our gifts and and gain performance experience became a larger endeavour as we grew to become a highly recommended provider of music at weddings and events around the GTA, peaking at 146 events a year.  All this was done out of our home and complemented other performing, teaching, and starting to raise children in 2008.  As of now, we have provided music at somewhere approaching 1000 events since we started (885 of which you can see here since we started our database in 2007).

We feel so incredibly blessed to have participated in so many of your special moments here.  All the couples whose weddings we have played at have given us a constant reminder of our own wedding vows and the importance of family.  We feel our move back to SK to be closer to our families is in keeping with what we have valued and shared together with you.

Thank you for everything, we wish you continued blessings 🙂

PS – we are happy to recommend other colleagues, including musicians that have played with us for years, for events you are looking for music at after June 2016.
